BioI just discovered that my fellow agility enthusiasts keep training/dog related journals on this site... I'd love to join in and share the trials and tribulations of dog agility.
I live in NE Portland, work NE Portland..... train dog agility mostly in Oregon City/Beavercreek. I also own an 11 year old Saddlebred/Appaloosa cross (horse) who I board in Scappoose, OR. I train dog agility a few times as week, at class and at home. I try and ride my horse 2 to 3 times per week.
I take weekly lessons in dog agility and also weekly lessons in beginning dressage (englihs riding) I love both hobbies/passions.
I own 4 1/2 year old Border Collie, bullet girl Lacey and 11 year old BC Mix Frisco (retired agility dog) Lacey has been a handful and our journey in agility has been slow, but I feel that this year we've come a long way, and and maybe we can start competing with a higher Q rate this year!
